Dreaded Green Ear:
Don't give up On Vintage Barbie®
I wanted a Ponytail Barbie®
but they were so blasted high in price.. for me anyway.
I kept watching a few on eBay and
started noticing the Barbie's®
with this thing called 'Green Ear'. Didn't look to inviting but..
So I then started checking with
how on earth to rid these poor Barbie®
dolls
of this Dreaded Green Ear. Seems the one that had the best
and highest effect was with a product called
Remove Zit Stain Remover.
I started reading all I could find
on this product and decided to try it for myself on a Barbie®
ears
and a Midge®
arm I bought on eBay. Below are a few of the photos and how many
days it took and so on.... See what you think and send me an email
if you have found a better product or have any ideas on this.
Thanks, :-) Kath
Day 1:
As you can see the Barbie®
ears
and the Midge®
arm
below do not look very nice. The
Midge®
arm,
we are not sure what is on there but it would not come off with general
cleaning so... why not try Remove Zit there too. Does Mattel
have any cleaning suggestions I wonder?

It has been 22 days and I
have taken several photos of the steps and chnanges in between. Because
of the loading time I have only added the before and afters for the days.
It is taking a little while to get results but I a very happy with the
Midge arm. I think she turned out great!
Barbie is taking a wee bit longer
and that is fine, I am a patient person. I think she will be very pretty
when she is rid of this too.
WIll post more photos later as the
process goes.
